Weathering Resistance


Owing To TPU possess Good Weathering Resistance and Good Low Temperature Property, the finished products can be used in any region. On the other hand, we can use Aliphatic Diphenylmethane Diisocyanate to solve the problem of TPU which are changed to yellow affected by the Ultraviolet Ray.

 

Oil Resistance


According to Good Oil Resistance, TPU can overcome some defect of Rubber Material. Regardless of the level of the Hardness, Polyether type-TPU will not be change after 120 days at 70oC room temperature. Compared with Polyether type-TPU, Polyester type-TPU is better because the Lower Hardness of Polyether type-TPU possess weaker Oil Resistance but the Higher Hardness of Polyether type-PTU are similar to Polyester type-TPU.

 

Heat Resistance & Aging Resistance


Although the temperature interdependent of the TPU Hardness and TPU Tensile Strength are higher, it possesses Heat Resistance and Aging Resistance.

 

Hydrolysis Resistance


The Nature of Polyester type-TPU will have Hydrolysis Reaction so it is not good for Hydrolysis Resistance. Polyether type-TPU is the best for Hydrolysis Resistance.

 

Ultraviolet Rays Resistance


The grade 4 of Ultraviolet Rays Resistance can be achieved.
